FrameMaker webinars (free)

Welcome to Adobe FrameMaker Essentials with Barb Binder, a free, online workshop series on the leading software for authoring and publishing technical content. This series will focus on the unstructured authoring—or style-based authoring—side of FrameMaker. Each webinar is about an hour long, and meant to supplement—but not replace—the hands-on, instructor-led FrameMaker training classes offered by Rocky Mountain Training.

The first webinars were recorded using FrameMaker 2020 (v16) and the rest on FrameMaker 2022 (v17), but FrameMaker is FrameMaker and the content will be relevant for anyone using FrameMaker 2017 (v14)—when the interface was reorganized—through the current version. I try to point out the new features as I go so that those still using older versions will know that something I’m showing about won’t be available until they upgrade.

If you have a FrameMaker question, the quickest place to get an answer is on the Adobe FrameMaker Community Forum. This is a user-to-user forum where you will encounter FrameMaker experts like myself who volunteer time to help other users. Asking questions on the forum is always free-of-charge.
