See How Online Training Works
Can't quite picture attending a class in a virtual classroom? Here's the most important concept: this is a live, interactive class, led by a top Adobe Certified Instructor. This is not a pre-recorded session, but an interactive, hands-on experience, and one that is surprisingly similar to attending a class in a traditional classroom. Even though you, your instructor and your classmates may be physically miles apart, you wll be able to converse with everyone in the classroom, and ask as many questions as you like, as you work your way through instuctor-led projects and hands-on activities. Intrigued? Here are the details:

Register online for the class. Add as many classes as you like to the shopping cart and check out when you are ready. (But remember that classes purchased 8 or more days in advance are automatically discounted by $100, so plan ahead!)

Confirm receipt of materials. Once we receive your registration, you will be sent a receipt for your purchase. Classroom login instructions and procedures will follow within one business day. A paperback copy of the workbook will be shipped to you, unless you opted to "go green" when you checked out. In that case, you will be send a voucher to download an electronic copy of your file (either as a PDF or as an eBook for your iPad, Kindle, etc.).

Double check that your computer is ready to go. You will need: a computer with stable, high-speed, hard-wired internet access and a current copy of the software. (If this is your first time attending a virtual class with us, we recommend you go to the class site at least 24 hours prior to ensure accessibility to the training site and download the necessary meeting software. If you do not have a current copy of the software installed, you can download a free 30-day trial from Adobe.com.)
Many of our students attend classes on a desktop computer with two monitors attached. This allows them to keep their application on one screen, and to watch the instructor’s display on the other. This is the ideal way to attend our online training. An alternative is to log into the classroom with two computers: a desktop with your application installed, and a laptop that is only used to watch the instructor’s display. An iPad can also be used as a secondary display, provided it meets the following specifications: iPad® 1 or newer, iOS® 4.2 or newer, Internet connection, free GoToMeeting App from the App Store. If you are planning to attend class on a single monitor, the instructor will help you manage your windows so that you can see both the instructor display and your own software at the same time.

Decide in advance how you will handle the audio. You have two options for calling into the classroom: VoIP through your computer (free of charge) or calling a toll number from your telephone (long distance charges will apply). In either case, you will want to purchase or borrow a headset with a microphone for the duration of the class so that your hands are free for the keyboard and mouse.

On the day of the class. Please log into the classroom at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class, using the instructions that are sent after you complete registration. After you are logged in, follow the onscreen instructions to activate the audio.

Start learning! Once you enter the classroom you will be greeted by your instructor. The instructor will make their screen visible to you at your workstation, and you will be able to interact with the instructor and the other students throughout the course. All classes are hands-on, and you will learn the software as you work your way through a variety of projects. Our instructors bring, on average, over 20 years of traditional classroom training skills to our online classes. Once class starts, our students are as engaged in the online classroom as they would be in a traditional classroom.
