All of the Rocky Mountain Training instructors training on Adobe software have current Adobe Certified Instructor status (see About Adobe Certification for details). Three of our instructors, Barb Binder, Kevin Siegel and Khaled Hadi have been recognized as Top Five Most Highly-Rated Adobe Certified Instructors, Worldwide by Adobe Systems, Inc.
What makes us different than other instructors? We do what we teach.
All Rocky Mountain Training instructors work outside the classroom in their fields of expertise: either in print publications, ePubs, web publishing, or all three. This is a very important consideration when selecting a training company, because many trainers only know what is covered the classroom materials, and have no practical knowledge beyond the courseware. Barbara (Edwards) Binder, ACI, CTT+
Barbara Binder, owner of Rocky Mountain Training and Adobe Certified Instructor since 1997. She is an CS5 Design Master, and an Adobe Certified Instructor on FrameMaker, InDesign CS5, InCopy CS5, Photoshop CS5, Illustrator CS5, Acrobat X and the new Adobe Digital Publishing Suite (DPS).
Barb started in the publishing field in 1986 with Pagemaker's first release for Windows. She has been delivering corporate training since 1987, mostly in the Washington, D.C area. She moved to the foothills west of Denver to escape the congestion and the craziness of life “inside the Beltway” in 2005. (Access to the fabulous skiing and living the outdoor life may have had a little something to do with the move, too.)
She has been an Adobe Certified Instructor on multiple programs since the inception of the program in 1997 and has been hired to teach "train the trainer" courses to help other instructors pass the rigorous Adobe Certified Expert exams and CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer exam.
In 2007, Adobe Systems, Inc. recognized Barbara Binder of Rocky Mountain Training as one of the Top Five Most Highly-Rated Adobe Certified Instructors, Worldwide.

Kevin Siegel, ACI, CTT+
Kevin A. Siegel, Adobe Certified Instructor since 1997. Offers the Adobe Technical Communications Suite training: Adobe Robohelp, Adobe Captivate, Adobe FrameMaker and the Integrating Adobe's Technical Communications Suite classes.
Kevin A. Siegel is the founder and president of IconLogic, Inc. He has written more than 100 step-by-step computer training books, including Essentials of Adobe Captivate 4, Essentials of Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, Essentials of QuarkXPress 7, Accelerated QuarkXPress 6, Essentials of Adobe InDesign CS3, Essentials of Adobe PageMaker 7 and Essentials of Adobe RoboHelp 7 HTML.
Kevin spent five years in the U.S. Coast Guard as an award-winning photojournalist and has more than 23 years experience as a print publisher and technical writer. He is a Certified Technical Trainer, has been a classroom instructor for more than 15 years and is a frequent speaker at trade shows and conventions. Kevin holds multiple certifications from companies such as Adobe and CompTIA.

Khaled Hadi, ACI, CTT+
Khaled Hadi, Adobe Certified Instructor. Offers classes on Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Web Design.
Khaled Hadi is the founder/owner of Amananet Inc., a Web Development firm specializing in dynamic publishing and content management solutions. He completed his Masters in Electronic Publishing at Rochester Institute of Technology school of Graphic Arts and Applied Sciences.
He has been delivering Adobe training classes for over a decade, and is a certified CompTIA CTT+ instructor, certified Adobe instructor, and certified Adobe Dreamweaver developer.

Jenny Ruby, CTT+
Jennie Ruby, Certified Technical Trainer since 1995. Delivers classes on grammar, proofreading, copyediting, substantive editing, and editorial technologies.
Jennie is an editorial professional with more than 20 years of experience writing for, editing, and managing publications. She edited, supervised, and managed the production of scientific research journals before starting her own business providing editorial and training services. She has delivered more than 640 training classes on editorial skills both in the classroom and online. She has published several books, including Editing with Microsoft Word 2007.
Jennie holds a master’s degree from George Washington University and has written and edited newsletters, magazines, books, and blogs.

David Mankin, ACI, CTT+
David Mankin, Adobe Certified Instructor. Offers classes on Adobe Acrobat Standard & Professional.
David is an Adobe Certified Instructor on Acrobat, which he has taught since version 3. In David's classes, participants seem to know they're in good hands, as he mixes challenging lessons with real-world, practical scenarios.
Trained originally as a classical musician, David travels the globe with either his oboe in hand, or his computer in tow, performing in the world's great concert halls or high-tech training facilities.
Early in his computer graphics career, he discovered the power and flexibility of Adobe Acrobat technology, and has been "spreading the Acrobat word" to thousands of students and lecture/seminar attendees from coast to coast for over 12 years.
David chronicles his life's ventures on his personal blog—Oboerista and his Acrobat adventures on Acrobatix. He lives in northern Virginia.

Mark Snyder, ACI, CTT+
Mark Snyder, Adobe Certified Instructor. Offers classes on Adobe Flash, Flash Catalyst, Adobe Captivate Widgets class and more.
Mark Snyder has been developing, designing and programming interactive media for over fifteen years. He is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and hold multiple Adobe Expert Certifications as well as being an Adobe Certified Instructor. He is also a Certified Technical Trainer with over twenty years of instructional experience.
His studio is in Washington, DC where he does work for clients including The Wilderness Society, The World Wildlife Fund, NASA and the Smithsonian Institute.
