All-new Adobe Flash Professional CS5 software is the most advanced authoring environment for rich, interactive content creation. This course introduces the students to creating interactive websites, rich media advertisements, and engaging presentations. Over the two day course students will build a Flash CS5 based website with interactivity, video, components, and minimal ActionScript. Learn the fundamentals of Adobe Flash CS5 fast with a fluid workflow and best practices. This is an introductory course and no prior knowledge of Adobe Flash is necessary. What you will learn includes:

Getting Acquainted with Flash CS5
A quick overview of the Flash authoring interface.

Working with Graphics & Managing Assets
Learn how to use the basic drawing tools and get assets to the Flash library and onto the stage.

Working with Symbols in Flash
Flash's reusable Symbols can greatly reduce development time and allow you to create project that are much more powerful and flexible. It also makes it much easier to reuse assets from previous work later on. As we cover this topic we will also show Flash's import capabilities and how we can handle Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop files with ease.

Adding Animation
The Animation tools in Flash are easily the most popular feature. Wether you are doing a frame by frame animation, A shape tween or a full blown motion tween with easing along a path; we will cover them all here.

Articulated Motion & Morphing
Inverse IK. Wow! Add bone structures to your creations and let Flash handle the rest..

Creating Interface Navigation with ActionScript 3.0
Certainly the most important lesson in the class. Controlling a timeline or movieclip with ActionScript enabled buttons.

Working with Sound and Video
Import and edit sound files, use the Adobe Media Encoder, understand video and audio encoding options and getting them to play on the timeline.

Publishing Flash Documents
Import and edit sound files, use the Adobe Media Encoder, understand video and audio encoding options and getting them to play on the timeline.

A copy of the coursebook and the data files will be sent to you prior to the start of the class.
