Course Objectives
Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 Advanced Application Development provides students with the knowledge and hands-on practice they need to build and manage dynamic websites using Dreamweaver CS4. In this course, you'll learn how to connect to a database, search and display results, and build a page to update the database. If you've always dreamed of building a more advanced, data-powered site, but didn't know where to start, then this course is for you.

Covering diverse topics such as improving workflow, managing CSS styles, and building dynamic pages, Dreamweaver CS4 Advanced is a hands-on course that teaches users how to move beyond standard, static websites. Explores how to increase productivity, interactivity, and accessibility with Dreamweaver. Learn how to create professional, data-driven websites that are interactive and seamlessly integrated. From choosing servers and databases to building web-based data entry systems and displays. This class provides in-depth, hands-on guidance through the process of building strong dynamic sites.

Working with CSS layouts
Review CSS layout concepts from the Level 1 class and take a look at relative vs. absolute positioning.

Adding & Customizing Spry Menu Widgets
A Menu Bar widget is a set of navigational menu buttons that display submenus when a site visitor hovers over one of the buttons. Learn to create a Spry navigation system.

Building XHTML/CSS- based navigation
from the ground up

Defining PHO/MySQL Server environment in Dreamweaver
